Bill Sullivan Joins Centro as Managing Director for Sales Southeast Region

Former National Online Sales Manager for Cox Enterprises to be Based in Atlanta

Chicago, IL – October 12, 2006 – Centro, whose platform and services ease the buying of local online media for agencies, announced today that Bill Sullivan has joined the company as Managing Director for Sales, for the Southeast Region. Mr. Sullivan, who departs Cox Enterprises as National Online Sales Manager, will be based in Atlanta and is expected to add a Miami office to Centro’s Atlanta southeast presence by the end of 2007.

Mr. Sullivan brings more than 13 years of sales experience in the interactive, newspaper, magazine and travel industries to Centro. In 2001, he teamed up with entrepreneur Steve Sims to build BlueFish Concierge into a major player within the luxury travel space. Sullivan was also a founding shareholder of Expedia.com, launching their first outside sales office in 1998. While at Cox, Mr. Sullivan oversaw all coordinated national sales efforts for Cox Newspapers, Cox TV, Cox Media, Cox Radio and Autotrader.com.

Prior to entering the online world, Mr. Sullivan worked as a publisher representative with Publicitas North America in Miami representing The Financial Times, the San Francisco Chronicle/Examiner, The Dallas Morning News and Travel & Leisure Golf magazine. He previously served as director of strategic accounts for Softbank Content in San Francisco and began his career with American Express Publishing in Atlanta.

“Bill has worked closely with Centro for years, so we’re really excited to have him on our team in the southeast region,” said Shawn Riegsecker, Centro’s President. “As our business expands to new markets, the regional play is becoming more and more vital since regional agencies have characteristically been underserved in interactive, especially in the southeast. With Bill and the other senior executives who are opening new offices for us, we intend to change that and bring the best level of service to these markets.”

“Its no secret that local publishers have always made it difficult for national and regional advertisers to buy anything local whether it print, broadcast, spot – it’s one reason you see so many media planners missing hair,” said Mr. Sullivan. “Centro’s unique model to plan and buy all things local in any market with complete objectivity and no publisher-specific agenda to push certain sites has national agencies and advertisers clamoring for more. The company has invested more than five years, working closely with major agencies and publishers to perfect a seamless solution for national, regional or market specific campaigns. Long ago, Centro made me a Raving Fan with their service so when I was approached by them, I couldn’t pass it up. I am completely excited to be a part of the paradigm shift happening in the local online channel and look forward to introducing Centro to clients throughout the Southeast, Caribbean and Latin America.”
